You are most likely reading this article thinking what is Placenta Previa? Well for those of you that have had placenta previa you know that it can be very scary. Let me share with you my story.
Placenta Previa is a condition in pregnancy, when your placenta or part of your placenta is covering your cervix. Your placenta attaches to your uterine wall, and this is what your baby uses to grow while inside of you. All your babies blood and nutrients flow through your placenta. Your placenta is attached to your babies unbilical cord. Your cervix is where your baby comes out. You have a cervix plug that is like a mucus plug that keeps everything inside of you until your water breaks and then it thins out when you go into labor.
I was diagnosed with full blown placenta previa when I was 6 months pregnant. If your placenta is on your cervix then you can't give birth to your baby because the placenta will come out first, if any of you know anything about giving birth there are 2 stages of labor, your baby and your placenta. Your baby must have full usage of your placenta when giving birth because this is your babies blood and oxygen supply. So I was scheduled for a Cesarean section.
Well everything was going just fine until I was 6 months pregnant and then I just started bleeding out of the blue. At the time I was a hairstylist and I was cutting someones hair. I asked my Co workers to call 911 and the ambulance came and took me to the hospital.
At the hospital I was rushed to the ER, and they gave me something to stop my contractions by now I was in labor and I was 26 weeks pregnant. The thought they were going to have to deliver my baby right then but my contractions stopped and I was sent home a week later, on strict bed rest. I was on bed rest for about 2 months and then I had a cesarean section. My baby was a month premature and had some complications when he was born. They cut through my placenta, and my baby lost 1/3 of his blood he also had fluid in his lungs. He had a blood transfusion and was on oxygen for 24 hours and after that he was fine.
Most Placenta Previa cases are not this severe so if you have it don't worry most times the placenta moves away from the cervix as your baby grows but sometimes it moves the other way and you have full blown placenta previa.
Doctors aren't sure what causes placenta previa so there is really nothing you can do to prevent this. Some links have been shown in placenta previa and smoking. So don't smoke or drink and eat healthy and take your vitamins. I did all these things and I still got it, so you can't prevent bad things from happening, but you can try to prevent them, by eating right and taking good care of yourselves.

I have a virus that is not allowing me to view hidden files or folders. It won't either allow me to run regedit or any programs to fix that. But I can access most of my files for backup. I just want to somehow select my hidden files, and copy them to a hard drive for backup, but it won't let me unless I am able to view them.
